Looking to order a commission? This page runs you through everything you need to know about working with Pixel Perfect. From what to expect and commission types, to pricing details and frequently asked questions.

The Commission Process

When commissioning a piece with us, you're getting more than just a digital art piece – you're receiving a meaningful, one-of-a-kind work that immortalizes prized memories for years to come. We want every step of the process to feel just as personal as your finished piece. Here's how it works:

1. Choose a Commission Package:

Take a look at the different commission packages and choose the one that best fits what you're looking for
For example, if you want a custom portrait of your family from a special trip — like a lakeside vacation — the Retreat Renderings package would be a perfect fit.
Or if you’re after something fun and unique, like a movie-style poster starring your friends and family, the Feature Film Poster package is made for that.

2. Fill Out the Form

Fill out the commission form with your concept and reference photos.

The more details you are able to provide about your piece, the better (e.g. a general budget, who it's for, the occasion, removing or adding subjects to the image, changing the background).

3. Confirmation and Quote

Once we agree on your artwork's details and I understand your vision, I will send a quote and an expected delivery date.

Pricing is determined based on several factors, including (and not limited to) number of subjects, piece complexity, subject matter, and additional revision rounds. If you have any questions about your quoted price, never hesitate to ask – I am happy to elaborate.

5. Revisions and Approval

Every commission includes up to 3 revisions before the final piece is completed to ensure you are happy with the product before delivery.

4. Agreement and Deposit

You will be asked to sign a Commission Agreement stating that you approve of the quoted price, delivery date, and whether or not you grant us permission to use your photo and piece for marketing/social media.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot and ensure all initial work such as sketches, initial revisions, and planning of the piece are covered.

6. Final Artwork

Once approved and the remaining balance is paid, you will receive your high-resolution digital file which will be ready to print, share, and fall in love with!

FAQ

Q: Do you offer physical prints?

Every finished artwork is a digital file that is ready to print at any size, yet we do not currently provide prints of commissioned pieces.

Q: What if I want more changes?

Every commission package includes three major revisions. If you need more major changes made before the piece is complete, there is an additional $25 cost for each revision.

What rights do I have to the art work?

All commissions are for personal use only. Finished pieces cannot be redistributed, resold, or reproduced without my permission.

Are commissions refundable?

Once we confirm details of your artwork and the deposit is made, it is not refundable. I do not issue refunds for completed artworks. If there is something you are not happy with, revisions are the perfect opportunity to make any changes you see fit.
